About 23 years ago my wife and I were looking to buy a home for the first time. As this is a part of the American Dream, we were working and had two baby girls. We wanted our children to have a home with a backyard to play in, and the stability of having our own roof over our heads. My wife and I found a real estate person and were were on our way. However, the real estate person, as we found out later on, represented both buyer and seller. Just before escrow closed, the real estate person wanted us to write a blurb to the mortgage company to raise the amount of the house we wanted to buy. I asked why, and was told this would help us buy the home. Coincidentally, the house was taken off the market and the real estate person advised that she would help us look for another home.

My wife and I felt betrayed by this person. We prayed and looked for someone else. My father was retired, and his history was reading with and listening to a Christian radio station. On this particular morning, the station mentioned the Home Real Estate Company. Further, that Bob & Barbara Laurito were Christians and owned the Home Real Estate Company. My dad called and told me to call this company. I called, made an appointment and my family and I met with Bob & Barbara. They were Christian, down to earth people and receptive of our needs and horror of what we just went through with the previous real estate person. Within a few days, they had “homes” lined up for us to look at. There were so many homes, we had to pray for the right one. It was incredible...Our prayers were answered, and we found our home. We thank God for Bob & Barbara Laurito and the Home Real Estate Company.

My wife and I had one more baby girl, and Bob and Barbara have been mailing birthday cards to everyone in our family for over 23 years. Our middle daughter graduated from college approximately four years ago, and was looking for a real estate agent. She called me and asked for help. I did not hesitate and suggested Bob & Barbara Laurito. She was happy with the results and bought her condo through the Home Real Estate Company. She had a house warming, and of course invited Bob & Barbara, and they brought a house warming gift to our daughter.

About a year after, my siblings and I had to place our mother in an Alzheimer’s Facility. In order to help pay for this live-in facility, we had to sell our parent’s home. My dad passed away twenty years earlier, and it was dangerous for our mother to stay in her home when she did not know she turned the gas on the stove and did not remember or smell it. I suggested to my siblings Bob & Barbara. They agreed and I asked them again for their help. They knew what was needed to sell the house, and within three weeks it was sold. Again, I thank God for Bob & Barbara Laurito of the Home Real Estate Company for the help they’ve given our family for over 23 years.
